Anyone have a clue yet?

My 8 year old son and I are going tonight and he asked me if Joe Borchard and Brian Anderson were playing tonight. I told him he would have a better chance at starting tonight then either one of them. His response was, " then were's Tadahito going to play (he's a 2nd baseman too)". :D:

Looks like the A-team again, and IMO it'll come down to Buehrle pitching like Mark ca June and not Mark ca last week.

I like the "A" team, but Everett is becoming a goat. Sure, he went deep last night. But, in the prior at bat he left runners on 2nd and 3rd with 1 out and the Sox down 4-2.

Keep playing him, but get him out of the three hole. I'd rather see J.D. have a crack at 3 and move Everett down to 7. That gives a good mix of lefty/ righty and removes Everett's slumping bat (.621 ops, .175 BA (11 for 63) in Sept.) from a production slot.

Pods - LF
Gooch -2B
Dye - RF
Konerko - 1B
AJ Pie - C
Rowand - CF
Everett - DH
Uribe - SS
Crede -3B

I miss Frank, big time.

I usually don't encourage gambling but if I were in Vegas I would pound Buehrle -118.

Go White Sox!!!

Man, I couldn't agree with you more. Watching lastnight's game, every time Hafner came up, I got scared. The Sox don't have that guy, that "fear" in the middle of the lineup... I miss Frank, big time.

I just heard this guy was made available out of Cleveland's bullpen

I heard this guy is available for the Sox tonight if Marte can't throw strikes:

"Sure, I can only throw 68 mph, but I'm a leftie."

I like having MB piching tonight for the simple fact that the Cleveland lineup will be more right handed oriented. Crisp and Martinez are a lot less of a threat from the right side. I'll take my chances with Hafner and a lefty on the mound. Mark is a smart pitcher, I hope he doesn't everything possible to keep the first two guys in the order off the bases and is very careful with Hafner. It seems lately the pitchers have been letting the guy we don't want to beat us (Sweeney/Hafner), beat us and this needs to stop tonight.

Westbrook is a very good pitcher.

The Sox have owned Westbrook this year, with a record of 3-0. Granted one of those losses was the 1-0 Opening Day Sox win, but the last two times he faced us he got torched. He isn't my biggest concern.

Part of the reason Everett and Konerko look like they have ****ty September numbers is becuase Ozzie decided to tinker with the lineup and bat Konerko 3rd and Crazy Carl at cleanup for a week or two. The best way for the offense to get back on track the way it was is to consistently put the lineup which was successful earlier in the year out there, not tinker with it more. I'm glad the A lineup is out there tonight, and I hope we see it until we clinch and throughout the playoffs.

Buehrle's my biggest concern. He's struggled lately and if starts grooving fastballs over the plate like Freddy did early on last night things could get ugly fast. Tonight isn't a "must-win" game by any means, but it is still huge and I'd love to see Buerhle get back on track with a big win tonight.

I heard last night (don't remember if it was radio or TV) that this was going to be the line up for the rest of the year. Who knows if it's accurate, but it is two days in a row!

Jerry Manual used to say that all the time, and then go and change the lineup the very next day
