Someone (Danny Cater?) last night was wondering what the Sox record was in front of home big crowds....so I looked it up. Here you go:

35,000 or more: 11-12
30,000 to 34,999: 5-8
25,000 to 29,999: 9-6
20,000 to 24,999: 7-2
Below 20,000: 11-4

Current home streak: 5 losses.

Bruce Wolf and some WSI'ers made a reference to this. I think the SOX and Big Crowds are NOT a good mix. Early in the season, we werent "packing" the places like the media liked, always in the 20K range, but as soon as word got out that we were winning, crowds started filling the place regularly after the AllStar Break. Then we started losing. All of that was interrupted by a SOX 7game winning streak. Attendance was 20K again during that streak. Theres something to this ............

Well, I hope they get used to playing in front of big crowds. What do we do, not sell tickets?
