Sorry if it offended you. But it had little to do with sports and a whole lot to do with entertainment.

I'm not wishing death on him in particular, but if I had to pick one Belushi to survive, it wouldn't be Jim...

That show sucks anyway.

This thread makes me glad I don't get television.

Still it makes me question how anyone could take a kid to a Cubs game. I thought kids weren't allowed in bars.

I didn't need another reason to boycott Jim Belushi.

At the time, I thought Blues Brothers 2000 was enough.

The fact is, had his brother never been born, he would be a nobody. He is not even mildly funny. So as cold as it sounds, I would agree with MuSoxFan, why couldnt the funny Belushi have survived?

Because, along with Chris Farley, he did too many drugs. :(:

I thought the lack of talent alone was a reason to not watch the show.

Kinda like being the tallest midget.

In Jim Belushi's case, I would replace the word "midget" with "hermit", and then you could make the case that he's the tallest-best looking-most talented-smartest HERMIT living in the cave. That guy is a bloated, overexposed, TALENTLESS egomaniac. Always looking for a camera to show his face as "Mr. Chicago" wherever, whenever the oppurtunity arises. I hate that guy. Go away Jim. You suck.

Seriously, what has Jim Belushi ever been in that he's actually been good in? I can't believe that his stupid show is still on the air.

Wasn't there some story that Jim Belushi was once actually a Sox fan but got pissed about something and switched alligences?

Trivia:

On my mom' soap back in the day ("Another World"), they actually "went" to Old Comiskey at least once.

Jim Belushi was, as you may recall, in the 1991 Chris Columbus movie "Only The Lonely", which featured THIS scene:

Yeah, but that doesn't make Belushi good. You can probably thank producer John Hughes for this scene.

Yeah, but that doesn't make Belushi good. You can probably thank producer John Hughes for this scene.Actually, I highly doubt that Hughes is a Sox fan. "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" was more or less a love letter to the Cubs, for crying out loud. IIRC, they filmed the Comiskey camping scene after the last Sox game, but before they tore the park down.

How would someone be pissed at being a Sox fan and all of a sudden decide to become a CUBS fan???

Actually, this exact topic has been talked about here many times. John Hughes is a White Sox fan. That scene in "Ferris Bueller" was filmed at Wrigley because the Sox were out of town. Aside from Ferris's trip to Wrigley and the sign in front of Wrigley flashing "Save Ferris", that movie had nothing to do with the Cubs. Saying that "'Ferris Bueller's Day Off' was more or less a lover letter to the Cubs" might be stretching it, don't you think? :D:

You got me, except that Jim Belushi is an idiot. I think I read that here, actually, in one of the zillion "Famous Sox Fan" threads.

"Treehouse of Horror XIV" in the Simpsons...which is on right now 5PM on Fox. It is about 9% accurate/

Lisa: "Dad you killed the Grim Reaper, you created a world without death!"

Homer: "Does this mean that they will never cancel the Jim Belushi show?, NOOOooooooooooooo!!!!"

You're definitely entitled to your opinion, Nellie Fox. I'm not a big reality-tv fan by any means, but The Mole was in a class by itself and required the viewer to THINK (God forbid!) while watching. Just my humble opinion.

From what Ive heard, the reason behind baseing that seen at Wrigley is because then always play day games, and for him to skip school and go to a Flubs game just made for sense then going to a Sox, pending a rare Day game for us

How many of you are old enough to have been listening to Dahl the day Belushi died? NEVER heard the Stever so depressed. He kept saying "I just want to go home and get drunk."

I tried posting the image, but it was too large. It was and article and photoshop Hofstra's humor magazine did titled, "Jim Belushi and Ashlee Simpson to have world's least talented child."
