Due to the importance of this series, I've decided to have a drink during the game (I can't take the pressure). For today's game, I've chosen a Weizen Bock called Moonglow. Its produced by Victory, which is what I hope the Sox will produce today. Any other suggestions for the remaining two games?

Thanks,
Deuce

Offhand, I don't have any suggestions for you, but I'd like to suggest that Toons fans lay in a couple/three cases of whatever swill they drink down there. And probably a couple quarts of Yukon Jack as well. I have a feeling they're gonna need it! :D:

VERY nice choice. You could also do a line-up of Great Lakes offerings in honor of us digging the Tribe's grave this week. Then wash those down with some Goose Island offerings.

There are a TON of Oktoberfest style beers out there now... Becks, Sam Adams, etc. etc.

Find a import from Venezuela, (if they exist) and drink in support of a strong outing from Freddy G.

Not that I drink or anything, because I'm underage and that would be illegal ...but I've heard that Sam Adams Summer Ale is very, very good. I'm not sure if it's still being produced though.

Not that you drink or anything, but IIRC from my days in Wisconsin, Point Special (from Stevens Point) was considered to be a pretty decent brew.

And I believe Sam Adams Summer Ale is still being produced.

It is still being produced, but it is seasonal. Sam's should be on to it's Oktoberfest right about now, as the Summer Ale has been available throughout the warm months here in Chicago. Look for Sam's Winter come December, which is also a nice brew from a big craft brewery (eh they aren't really a craft brewery, but not a macro either).

Pabst on tap down the right field line. It doesn't rate a Blue Ribbon for nothing, folks.

That reminds me, I've got a bottle or two of a friend's homemade mead sitting around. That might do the trick in the near future.

Everyone has their own taste. I like Carlsberg beer. I like Michelob Regular and Light (but not Ultra). And of the beers at Comiskey I like Budweiser over Miller.

How about an Edmund Fitzgerald Porter from the Great Lakes Brewery in Cleveland. An excellent beer and it commemorates the sinking of a ship from Cleveland.

I know it's probably considered a "girly" drink but If I want a good quick buzz that tastes good I go for the Dekyper Butterscotch or Cinnamon...any of them will get the job done. Makes me warm inside...

I'm stopping on my way home from work tonight to pick up a few bottles of tequilla. That should get me through the rest of the Minnesota series.
