Well Cleveland won 3-1. I know a win is a win but only 3 runs against KC may mean they are losing steam.

Considering its 4-0 Cleveland with 1 out in the first and runners on 1st and 3rd you probably don't want to watch it.

hangar watching KC play Cleveland would be like watching the Washington
Generals go up against the Harlem Globetrotters.:o:

Instead of throwing a bucket of water on the fans the Indians will let Matt Stairs hit a double so the crowd can laugh at his little legs going up and down like he is running in place.

How could anyone watch this game? It's like something supernatural is happening. In the last 10 days, the Indians have gone 8-1, and the Sox have gone 2-7. This shouldn't be happening..it's a nightmare. I hope things turn around in the next 10 days.

PaleHoseGeorge

The Sox have to handle Cleveland face to face. There is no way around it.

And I agree watching this game is akin to rooting for the Washington Generals to beat the Harlem Globetrotters. It's as pointless as the inevitable final score.

Burgos pitches around a leadoff walk and onto the 8th.

The Royals have been in both games, so anyone who thinks Cleveland is going to come into Chicago and walk all over the Sox is crazy.

Hopefully Sweeney makes amends for what has been a piss poor series from him to date in the 8th.

It's going to come down to the head-to-head matchups. Splitting the 6 games would be a success and taking 4 of 6 may end the division race right then and there. If the Sox sweep Cleveland, it's over. On the contrary, the Sox could lose 4 of 6 and could still manage, but that's definitely not preferred. But the fact that a split of the 6 means the Tribe still has to make up ground in other places gives us an inherent advantage.

I hope no one here is. Yeah, they are going through a hot streak, but streaks end. I don't see why the Sox can't be the ones to stop them.
