Playoff Schedule Question

I know this has probably been asked but I don't see any specific threads on it.

I am at college right now and will need to get a flight home for the division series playoffs. Lets say we stay in first place in the AL and play the wildcard team or someone else. What games would we get at home? And since the playoffs start Oct 4 when do you think we would have home games?

I know this is a repeat question and I'm sorry but I don't really want to waste time looking it up here or elsewhere. ..Can you tell me the exact dates for round 1 for home playoff dates? It starts the 4th right. I really want to know when game 5 will be. Thanks for your patience and help in advance.

I don't believe the exact dates will be set until the actual week of the series, based on past history game 5 would either be on Sunday or Monday.

They have to consider the possibility of someone needing a one game playoff, along with TV's wishes when setting the schedule, whick is impossible until the end of the season.

ALDS officially starts oct 4th
if the sox have home field, they would be home 4th 5th and i hear the 9th(sun)

Alcs starts on the 12th.
