That's funny I'm rooting for Cleveland!

The less teams from the West coast in the Playoffs the better... We can handle our own division... and I'd Much rather face Cleveland in the post season.

I thought that was normal attire in the Bay Area.

But if Cleveland wins the Wild Card, your first opponent is most likely going to be Los Angeles.

Division opponents cannot play each other in the first round.

Have you seen what the Sox have done to the Toons this season, including (most recently) a 4-game sweep in Cleveland?

Poor Joe Blanton, a finely tuned athletic machine and he still has that double chin going on.

True, but that was before Cleveland went on a tear.

Please don't give me the dark cloud, but I guess I'm the only one here who's still worried about the Sox taking the division. Losing 4 games in the standings in 4 days tends to put me on edge.

GO OAKLAND!!!! (for the next 3 days)

Haren is going against Sabathia tonight. Hopefully Haren is feeling a little better, and that Sabathia, well, that he trips over the pant leg of his extremely baggy uniform and gives up 6 runs in the 1st inning.....

I'm actually happy to see the A's playing the Tribe because the Sox benefit to some extent regardless of the result. I'm rooting for the A's, but our chances for keeping the wildcard as a fallback position are aided by the Yankees and A's losing. I can find something to be happy about no matter how each game goes. My only regret is that the A's and Tribe don't have one more series after this! The Yankees have several games left against Boston and the Devil Rays, who always seem to stymie the Yanks.
