I found this interesting:

Buehrle
Boston: 6.23 ERA 0-1 .367 AVG
LAA: 2.08 ERA 0-0 .210 AVG
Cleveland: 2.11 ERA 2-0 .187 AVG
Oakland: 6.05 ERA 0-2 (ouch) .356 AVG
Texas: 2.51 ERA 1-0 .286 AVG
SD: 0.00 ERA 0-0 .241 AVG

Stay away from the Red Sox and A's Buehrle.

Garland
Boston: 5.25 ERA 1-1 .320 AVG
LAA: (to be updated)
Cleveland: 2.84 ERA 2-0 .327 AVG
NYY: 2.57 ERA 0-1 .280 AVG
Oakland: 2.57 ERA 2-1 .224 AVG
Texas: 7.27 ERA 1-2 .292 AVG
SD: 1.29 ERA 1-0 .250 AVG

Ok except for Boston, Texas and LAA.

Garcia
LAA: 3.38 ERA 1-0 .260 AVG
Cleveland: 1.71 ERA 2-0 .200 AVG
NYY: 0.00 ERA 0-0 .207 AVG
Oakland: 3.46 ERA 0-0 .271 AVG
SD: 7.50 ERA 0-0 .370 AVG

Pretty impressive, and SD is in the NL anyway

Contreras
Boston: 4.77 ERA 1-0 .348 AVG
LAA: 3.46 ERA 0-1 .188 AVG
Cleveland: 2.29 ERA 1-0 .174 AVG
NYY: 0.60 ERA 2-0 .246 AVG
Oakland: 8.31 ERA 0-1 .235 AVG

Pretty good except for the A's

El Duque
Boston: 2.70 ERA 0-1 .167 AVG
Cleveland: 6.55 ERA 1-1 .318 AVG
NYY: 5.25 ERA 0-2 .222 AVG
Texas: 14.09 ERA:o: 0-1 .382 AVG

If we face Boston he should pitch. NYY looks worse than it was.

Overall: I know this doesn't all that much but I thought it was interesting. Everyone kicks the Injun's ass except Duque but he is the only one who looks impressive against Boston.

I'll stick by an earlier thread of mine: Garcia is my number one. Buehrle and Garland have to be matched up against the right team. Contreras may even be my number two.

I just put them in there because of their offense.

Contreras has been their best pitcher since the All Star break and yet there still seems to be alot of questions to if he's even going to get a post season start. I hope Ozzie learned alot from McKeon in '03. It didn't matter Dontrelle Willis had a great first half that year and was Rookie of the Year. He was a mediocre 2nd half pitcher and was in the pen for the playoffs. I just hope Ozzie manages the staff to win each game and not worry about being loyal to certain guys because they put up great first half stats. That's just too Bakerish....
