Hm, I guess it'll be sheer luck trying to get through on the phones/internet. I was just going to go down to the box office, but oh well.

Interesting. The lower reserved and bleachers are the same price as the upper box.

Does this mean that those of us who are Ozzie plan holders who could only purchase upper box or upper reserved tickets for the ALDS will be given an upgrade to the lower reserved or bleachers?

I wonder why they aren't selling tickets at the box office?? Good luck to all Sox fans getting tickets and keeping them out of the ticket brokers hands.

That's a lie. They're just trying to prevent large crowds but I have the inside information. All the best seats will be sold at the Cell's Box Office. That's right, don't waste your time trying to buy tickets online or over the phone. Go camp out U.S. Cellular field and let suckers like me battle online for tickets.

My dad almost got trampled to death in 1983. But he didn't and we got two playoff tix!!!

It was a joke. Everyone waited in line all night at the park. Then when a ticket window opened everyone ran to it in a mad dash. The previous line became irrelevant. My dad showed up at 3am and got tickets before people who were there all night. Online seems a far better and more fair way to do things.

They probably don't have very many, and don't want a riot when people who've camped out don't get tickets.

I was able to get tickets online for the 2003 ALDS that never happened. But, I wonder if it will be more difficult this time around since the park has 6600 fewer seats than in '03. Also, more people have broadband now than in '03, so it might not be such an advantage to help you get through as it was before.

Because the neighborhood is unsafe.

Well I know what I am going to be doing during my lunch break next Thursday. I'm going to take advantage of all possible outlets; work phone, cell phone, internet, and girlfriend (she'll have nothing better to do) :D:

I'm guessing it'll be a lot harder. In '03, my seats were in row 29, which would now mean I'd be sitting at home.

Did anyone else order tickets to all 3 games either through the Minnie plan or the Ozzie plan? I ordered 4 tickets for 3 games via faxing in the form they sent me, but I never recieved any confirmation. This is normal?

I was told, as a Minnie plan owner, that I did not get post-season ticket opportunity.

I too will be online and on the phone during lunch!

Oh, I was under the impression that Minnie plan owners were able to purchase them as well. I was able to with the Ozzie plan, I just wish they would send me some sort of confirmation.

You can call your ticket rep to get confirmation of your order. Tickets should be sent out sometime in the third week of sept.

Minnie Plan holders do not get guaranteed playoff tickets.

Just one question tho...I have an Ozzie Plan. Could I get my upper deck ticket stamped so that I can go down to the fan deck?

Thank God the Sox use ticketmaster. Tickets.com is the site with the virtual waiting room nightmare. With TM, at least their servers usually work well and it is first come first serve. The worst thing about TM is the large "convenience fees" they assess on you.

I'm pretty sure Game 2 will be the next day, Wednesday October 5th. Not sure about a possible Game 5 though. Hopefully, we won't need it.

What organization would do such a cold hearted, gutless act such as this?

Game three will be Oct. 7.
Games four and five, if neccessary, are the 8th and 9th.

The ALCS starts the following Tuesday.

lol, you're probably right, but for a second I was going to lay into him about not knowing one of the most despicable things the Cubs have done in this city.
