You talk to most Red Sox fans and no team scares us most in the post season than the White Sox

It's been my prediction that the Red Sox will meet and be defeated by the White Sox in this year's postseason. I'm sticking to that theory after today's game. The reason they will meet them (and, I think, still take the division) is mainly because of their offense. As with the 2003 team, it will probably be enough for the 2005 Red Sox to squeeze into a pennant series. But once the rubber really hits the road, we just plain don't have the pitching horses this year. Or, at least, we don't have the kind of consistent pitching horses Chicago has had.

How many times can i read, "sox lost to a rookie they had never seen, again. mccarthy looked good. i still do not fear the white sox in the post season."

This is just more Red Sox propaganda. I think that I might have to agree with Baby Fisk here...

we do not need your validtion.

you say 'red sox fans' are scared like they are worthy of being scared or that they are a lock for the playoffs

I am glad I'm not the only person here who doesn't give a crap what the East Coast opinion on the Sox is. I'm sooooooo glad we've impressed them.

The incessant self-absorption of the A.L. cubs is mind-numbing.

I recently heard from Dave Wills and he said that after only one season on the job with the Rays he's learned that the Red Sox players and their fans are about the most obnoxious he's ever seen.

Having grown up in New York, I agree with that assessment. Red Sox fans are twice as bad as even Yankee fans. They have a real big chip on their shoulders brought on by a tremendous inferiority complex.
