I'll be there -- flying in from Maine. In fact, it'll be my first game in Chicago in 5 years.

I went last year, the green beer wasn't more, but it was hard to find. Not every beer stand had it. Also, this year they have the green uniforms, they didn't wear them last time. Also, should be a better game this time around. Last year it was on Sept. 17 against the Tigers, the Sox were out of it, and lost the game in extra innings.

Sounds cool, but only if the person next to you is guaranteed to be single & available!

I go to baseball games to watch baseball. However, if they are going to have a promotion, I wish they would actually give something away.

I'll be there. By the way, what happened to the fireworks? Wasn't there supposed to be firewords that night after the game?

I can't wait for Friday, last year was so much fun. Halfway is a huge holiday by my parent's house where I grew up.

Halfway to St. Patrick's Day

Friday, September 9 vs. Anaheim, 7:05

Join the White Sox for a night of music and dance as we celebrate the halfway point to St. Patrick's Day. Enjoy green beer at various concession stands throughout the ballpark!

PREGAME:
OUTSIDE THE GATES
Experience the luck of the Irish with the Chicago Rovers Bagpipers and the Drums of the Emerald Society Police Department. Say 'Erin go Braugh' to the World Champion Trinity Irish Dancers. Irish Eyes will be smiling as the children of the Academy of Irish Music and the winners of the Irish American Idol Contest showcase their talent.

ON THE FIELD
Bridget McLaughlin, who was named the Queen of the 50th Anniversary St. Patrick's Day Parade, and the Pipes and Drums of the Emerald Society Chicago Police Department will participate in a pregame parade.

Watch the E Team, Entertainers of the Sky, as they give an aerial presentation of our colors into U.S. Cellular Field wearing green suits in honor of our Halfway to St. Patrick's Day celebration.

POSTGAME:
THE E TEAM, ENTERTAINERS OF THE SKY
They'll be dropping in again postgame with their lighted Jumpsuits. Look skyward for a special Halfway to St. Patrick's Day skydiving exhibition.

Doesn't matter Steff. Everytime he pitches when we are in the suite, he sucks eggs and the game goes extra innings...means more drinking time.

No way, but the black undershirts, chest protectors, and shoes didn't go well with the green pinstripes.

Looked bad on TV. Too "new" looking as well as out of place. And I didn't like the result in them.

For a one-time thing, I guess they were interesting. But I'd never want to see them worn on a regular basis. Just file it away with the future-uniform day from '99 and the rest of the crazy promotions.
