as I see things, the favorites to win this years world series are: the Atlant
Braves, LA Angels, St Louis Cardinals &.......yes the Chicago White Sox. Do
any other teams have a chance, of course they do, but seem unlikely as
they seem to have weak pitching. We all must have our doubts as our
beloved Sox are not perfect. however no one else id either, if this team
continues to pitch they can play with & yes Beat anyone.

So let's go Ozzie keep them hustlin' & help us Sox fans realize our
life long dream!!!

go go SOXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXIt's pretty unusual for a team not in the top 3 or 4 in their league in pitching to make it to the WS. Atlanta is 5th in the NL. I don't think they've got it. I think the Cards are all but a shoo-in from the NL.

Boston is 11th in the AL. Why are people worried about them? The only team in the AL that looks to be in the Sox' class is Anaheim.

the red sox definately don't have the pitching. The cardinals are awsome, but then again it is the NL. We have a great shot this year..GO SOX! :gulp::bandance:

I agree with you guys but the thing I like about the Braves is that they
seem to be getting better as they get healthy, that's why they scare me

I may be wrong about the Angels in that they are slumping now, their
bullpen may be worn out & guys other than Vlad aren't hitting, the Red
Sox & Yankees blow

I think that there will be 3 really great, hard-fought series in the AL playoffs, and that the Cardinals breeze through the NL playoffs with a 7-2 or maybe 7-3 record.

I just think that the disparity between St. Louis and the rest of the NL will stick out like a sore thumb come playoff time, even if they do happen to play the Braves in the NLCS.

It sounds weird to pull for teams in your own division to win the Wild Card, but I think that St. Louis and Atlanta are doing exactly that, salivating over the thought of playing the Padres in the 1st round.
