I was just thinking, since Crede is having trouble and even when healthy still can't hit, what about moving Gload to 3B in AAA and see how he responds? I'm sure he'd have some trouble at first, but he definately has range. Anyone think this could be a decent idea? Does he have the arm for it?

Ross Gload is left-handed.

2. Gload has had shoulder problems and wouldn't be able to make the throw anyway.
3. I don't know where you got the idea he had the range to play 3B, but he doesn't.

Edit: Oh yeah, and he's a lefty.

Game, set and match. And then match again.

If we were that desperate, I'd rather move Konerko over there and have someone else play first. I don't think this is a feasible option for many reasons.

Perhaps we could have super-sub Timo Perez play 3B in a pinch.

How about they teach Gload to throw righty, teach him to play 3B, then send him up to the ML club? That sounds like the most logical choice.

Sorry, no offense to the original poster. I'm talking more about the people overall who believe every player can play every position.

Oh please, like you've never played Frank Thomas at shortstop in MLB Triple Play 2003 on PS1! :D:
