I don't get it at all, what did he do wrong? Was it something to do with gambling or betting rules?

Talk about going overboard... look at the quote by this guy...
Were it me, and I was the parent of this kid I would have sought to file charges against Penny, I would go after him with every resource I have and seek to have him branded a child molester.
A child molester!?

No where on this site does it say anything about "Don't drink a gallon of milk in an hour", So it's got to be safe right?

If it was a gallon of steroids, the Marlins would have looked the other way.

I freely admit I don't understand the suspending of the Bat Boy. Please Explain.

"It's kind of ridiculous that you get a 10-game suspension for steroids and a six-game suspension for milk," Penny told the Herald. No kidding

I'm too lazy to read the story, did the batboy get all the milk down?

My English teacher tried this once in high school. He didn't make it either. Puked in the class room, he did.

It is called the Gallon Challenge, seen many people attempt it in college, no one succeeded. However I have no idea why you would need to suspend anyoen for this. Just harmless fun. Throwing up from milk is not going to hurt anyone.

That is the dumbest damn thing I have ever read.....EVER

With society today in a sue first mode if anything happened to the kid the team would have been slapped with lawsuits so fast it would make their head spin. That's probably why they did it, to cover their ass for the future and prevent any other 'dares.'

Sounds like a great role model for kids.

I've tried this...had to stop b/c it was gonna come up.

I've also bet my friends with the 20 saltine crackers in 3 minutes (we weren't sure about what the challange is suppossed to be). It's said to be impossible and I can see why...after awhile you stop physically producing saliva and have to fight to swallow the crackers.

It's not impossible. A buddy of mine did it, or something similar. It was suppossed to be impossible. I got a kick out of the milk thing. Maybe the Indy 500 could use it a promotional tool.

I might be able to do it, what with my "Goat Stomach," and all. I bet it'd be fun.

But this was ridiculous. Suspend Penny if need be. Why the damn kid?

My friends and I have tried 6 in one minute, and I believe nobody's ever accomplished it. It's very deceptive.

We used to do it with pitchers of beer.
Not sure why you would want to do it with milk though.

I don't think it would be impossible, provided you drank a gallon of milk to wash down the 20 crackers.
