Good article about Guillen, Ruesse is much more level-headed writer than Souhan, who is a big homer. I just dont think homers are good for the game ...with apologies to DJ and Hawk. Souhan's article yesterday was crap, bush journalism that appeals to the masses (of twins fans) .

I can't imagine why the Chicago Cubune chose to run the Souhan article and not this one in today's paper. Must have been space restrictions.

Nice article, but I don't quite agree with the wording here:

Manager Ozzie Guillen, coming off a flop of a first season (83-79)

I didn't know that 4 games over .500 was considered a flop for one's first year as a MLB manager. :rolleyes:

I didn't know that 4 games over .500 was considered a flop for one's first year as a MLB manager. :rolleyes: Especially since they were in first place when Maggs and Frank went down.

The article was well written but last I checked our shortstop's name was Juan Uribe Not 'Jose Uribe'.
