I wanted to see who is going to be in Seattle this weekend for the Sox games. I'll be there for all 3 games in section 145. Before the games I usually go to Pyramid Ale House across the street from Safeco Field and after the games hit Sluggers, which is across the street from Seahawks Stadium parking lot. I can also be found in the center field beer garden during bp having a few cold ones. Anyone wanna meet up?

SAFECO rocks, Pyramid rocks. The only problem is when I lived there, every time I went to see the Sox, they lost. Probably a good thing I'm not there this weekend. Have some garlic fries for me.

:D: What day will the 19 yr old pitching phenom Felix Hernandez pitch? That could stir more sales than the Sox comong into town??? Yea the Sox lost when I was there June 5th last year...so pencil a Sox meltdown about the 5th inning or so...........garlic fries are good though:wink:

Went to the Mariners wesbite for tix. Ended up getting some from their season ticket holders that want to sell back some games to the public. Find the link for Mariners Ticket Exchange. Buy 'em and print 'em yourself. Pretty easy. Were some good seats/deals a month ago. Don't know about now.
mmmmm garlic fries and a good beef sandwich (which doesn't exist in Vegas)

I'm actually going to Seattle, and was planning on catching the last game of the series, but I decided not to because it would make the trip way too long.

I like how they always shut the roof when there are 2 outs int the top half of the inning. Then by the time its the bottom half and Seattle is batting its 3/4ths closed and the ball starts to really carry then. Gosh I HATE the Mariners!!

 The Sox played differently after the roof closed in that June 5th game last year, and I almost couldn't wait for the game to end just to go home.......:(:

I think Felix Hernandez is scheduled to pitch on Friday...and yes, there will be alot of Seattle fans showing up for that game...should be a great game. Hernandez is the real deal...and the cool thing about this game is that el duque is starting...that makes it Hernandez vs. Hernandez!

Also, I would expect a good Seattle crowd on Sunday too b/c Freddy is pitching for us and the M's still talk about how they never should have gotten rid of him.

For how terrible the M's are, they still draw pretty large crowds...its amazing really. Mainly b/c Safeco is awesome....should be a great weekend!

Friday, lets all meet up before the game in the centerfiled beer garden. My girlfriend and I will be there an hour or so before the game. After the game we'll be at Sluggers just down the street.

SEATTLE - Two soldiers who just returned from a year in Iraq were badly beaten in an attack outside Pioneer Square. But believe it or not, someone caught the beating on videotape. Now, police are asking for your help identifying the suspects.

The brutality of it all was captured on tape outside of Larry's Nightclub on First and Yesler on July 31.

Police say the victims were with two women who'd been groped by the suspects. One of the women threw a hot dog at the suspects and walked away. They didn't get very far. The three suspects ran after them and began attacking the two men -- two soldiers who'd come home from the war.......

:D: Funny how many times downtown Seattle closes down when there is police activity....its either a suspicious package or some guy adjusting his antenna and some one thinks he's got a rifle on the roof...one paranoid town:o:

Give me a high speed chase on some LA freeway anyday!!:redneck

Wear your slickers for Sunday!!! I guess the roof will be closed!!

I will be at the game today with my wife. We live in Portland and will be making the day trip. We are going to arive early to catch BP. we will be sitting in section 104 (right-center field).

What a game last night. Some of the guys I work with were garanteeing a Mariner victory because of the rookie phenom Felix the Cat. I can't wait to go to work on Monday (did I just say that?).
