Why showcase an All-Star who leads the league in steals with 52 when you can showcase Nook Logan his 20 steals and .308 OBP.

He must be the fastest player to the bench after striking out

ESPN BLOWS!

First National Leaguer with two multi-triple games in the same season since (no kidding) Sammy Sosa (http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/players/profile?statsId=4344) in 1990 Uhh, one problem there Jayson. Sammy Sosa played with the White Sox in 1990, who happen to be in the American League.

I have to admit, Nook is probably the fastest player.

Fast doesn't always = stolen bases and vice versa.

Yeah there are guys who are extremely fast but aren't very good at getting jumps or reading pitchers...

Joey Gathright of the D-Rays is a great example, one of, if not THE fastest players in the major leagues, I forgot what his 40 times were, but they were amazing, but hes not an impressive base-stealer...

but its still kinda weird that he would leave Pods COMPLETELY off the list...70 steals last year, followed by 52 so far this year, obviously the man is getting a lil help from his legs.

Now thats ridiculous!!! I dont understand how those two arent on the lists. Ohh thats right, ESPN would actually have to do that thing called research and thats just too difficult.

I don't have a problem witht that article, he was on the "How did they miss" list along with guys like Ichiro and Figgins. Just because you have the most stolen bases doesn't mean you're the fastest.

Right, but this isn't track and field. Who the hell cares who the fastest is? Why not write an article about someone who does something with their speed. I'm sure Justin Gatlin could make it from first to third faster than all of them. There is just one problem with that
