Anyone seen the Twinkies line-up for tonight? Mauer certainly will be given the night off; maybe Shannon Stewart too.

It's not a pretty lineup, but let's get em Sox.

(Imagine if this lineup had been presented to us in February. Chicago would still be burning!) :o:

That lineup is at least decent. Hopefully Buehrle will shut down the Twins' lineup.

We'll never score any runs without Timo leading off. His automatic outs totally paved the way for the 2-spot.

Gee...I'm gonna miss Timo. Buehrle has owned the Twins for the past few years. Hopefully he will get a complete game in, the bullpen needs a rest after last night.

PRAISE THE LORD! TIMO ISN'T LEADING OFF!

"Aaron Rowand hit .319 with 11 home runs and 32 RBIs over 163 at-bats as the leadoff man in 2004, but only has four at-bats in that spot this season."

Um, hello? Anyone home??

This lineup sucks! we can never win in the playoffs we these nobodys! I'm not watching another game all year, and I'm starting a new website where me and all my dickcloud friends can be mad at the world and complain about things we can't change!

Teal quotes never get old and are far better than the ones where people complain.

Sandy Brown = put this joke to rest.

I like tyhis lineup and it was exactly what was hoping for after last night. Ozuna can provide a spark in leadoff. He's been nothing but surprising off of the bench.

Maybe then Timo can come in for Dye in the late innings to shore us up defensively.

Give the man some credit. Without him the Sox wouldn't have scored three of their four runs last night the bullpen would have been relieved of 8 scoreless innings of relief plus 1 5-run inning by Jon Adkins.

I don't think Timo deserves much credit, the guy gets a clutch hit every few months or so. He doesn't deserve a spot on the roster, IMO. And he is not a leadoff hitter, with Pods down, Rowand or Iguchi would make a better leadoff hitter. Not Timo.

Per ESPN1000.Interesting, but LH are hitting much better vs. Santana. Plus an all RH lineup will help Santana's control. :?:

From a purely selfish standpoint, I NEED THIS WIN, for the simple reason that tomorrow is an off-day and on Friday, I will probably be having lunch with some friends, one of whom is a Tribe fan who has been driving me crazy all year with his "Nananananana, we're gonna catch you, we're gonna catch you" tripe (a la Stillwell Angel, although this guy is in his mid-30s).

Plus, I frickin' hate the Twinks. And I still have a sore throat from sitting up watching last night's game on my laptop and yelling obscenities at the screen.

Attention Sox players. We don't ask for much. So couldya please win? PLEEZE!!
