The SOX again are not able to gain any ground on the Media Story Leading Cubs. Todays Tribune also deserves special notoriety, seems ex-cub Todd Hundley was arrested for drunk driving, and the Trib is SCRAMBLING to offset the potential bad PR. How? In the stories first paragraphs, its noted how
he has children safely (and lawfully) tucked into the child safety seats, how he wasnt feeling well, how he was taking medicine for a bad back, and how hes been a good driver, before ever mentioning the point of the story. I thought for a second Mike Kiley wrote this piece ........

Cubune:
4 cub stories
3 sox stories
Cub-Times:
3 cub stories
4 sox stories

Standings since only 7/25
4th Place, 5 games UNDER .500, 17.5 games OUT ........CUBS 180
1st Place, 32 games OVER .500, 1st Place all season ......SOX 136

The story said it was Todd Hundley, not Randy.

You know what's real bad, the last two days on the trib website there has been no game recap for the Sox anywhere to be found on their main sports page between 7 and 8 a.m. Chicago sports has it but not the tribune.

My mom was taking Vicodin recently following a couple of procedures to crush kidney stones. The first thing they told her was not to drive or operate any machinery while she was taking it. Sorry, Todd, you should have known better. You need a better story.

And he admits that he took them on an empty stomach, which IMO means he knew that they can have an adverse effect on a person.

And is there a magic number watch in either of the papers? I was searching yesterday for it, and I couldn't find it anywhere.

There is one in the cubune, not sure about the cub-times.
