Schilling is worthless for Boston.

He's not meant to be a closer...He's a STARTER. When Foulke comes back and Schilling moves back to the starter's role, perhaps he might get back to status quo for the Carmines.

Meaning, when he becomes a starter he's gonna have 5 ER after 2 IP? Bring it.

Theo may have a sleeper who will be our closer later this year, Craig Hansen

http://www.soxprospects.com/players/hansen-craig.htm

Scouting Report: Hansen's fastball has topped out in the high 90s, and he consistently hits the mid-90s. He also possesses an excellent high-80s slider. A fierce competitor who has an excellent closer mentality. Does not walk many batters. Named "closest to the majors" of all players in the 2005 draft.

Scouts who have seen him say he is ready NOW, and he has already jumped 3 rungs in the system since being drafted in June.

You only have to go back to 2002 and Anaheim with Francisco Rodriguez to see that it could happen.

Schilling was very humble after the game last night

Schilling's wrong pitch sinks Red Sox (http://video.nesn.com/global/video/popup/pop_playerLaunch.asp?clipid1=499534&at1=Sport&vt1=v&h1=Schilling%27s+wrong+pitch+sinks+Sox&d1=59266&redirUrl=www.NESN.com&activePane=info&LaunchPageAdTag=homepage)http://images.nesn.worldnow.com/images/499534_vk.jpg

I believe Shilling can act humble, or appear humble, but I'm not sure he can actually be humble.
