Ginter's pitching has been better since his second call up. Its great to see Jerry have some confidence in him, because he usually just overworks his best men. If Ginter can be effective, it will be a huge boost for the pen.

We need somebody else to step up in the pen. Thin isn't the word for our pen. If Ginter doesn't suck it would be a huge plus!

Ginter has pitched better - good to see.

What I don't understand about Manuel is that yesterday, with a 7 run lead, he uses our second to best bullpen guy, Glover, to close it out (Glover has pitched well lately; better than all but KF). Why not use Embree or someone not pitching well? It gives them a chance to get their game back together, not much risk that we will lose, and saves our best pitchers for another day.

Why did we have to say Ginter was pitching better? We should have seen this coming.
