I would bring up McCarthy as a long reliever,Bajenaru to give pollite a rest
and Leo Daigle, who has been tearing it up all year in A ball and AAA ball.

Leo has been tearing it up in A ball only. He was pretty terrible with Charlotte. He batted .222 for the Knights.

You have Jeremy Giambi on your list, he last played for us the 1st week of May :?:

I wouldn't touch Leo Daigle.

Guys you consider giving the nod to are:
Willie, Borchard, Bajaneru, Anderson, Gload, and BMac.

I would give McCarthy a few starts (maybe even going to a 6 man rotation) to get the starters a little extra rest.

McCarthy, Borchard, Anderson, Bajaneru

We play like our last 20 games without a day off, and the last 12 or so on the road, so McCarthy will be needed to give some starters a rest.

Where's Jamie Burke? Is he still with the organization? I think we need another catcher to rest our guy's legs.

He's listed on the Knights roster (http://www.charlotteknights.com/pressbox/roster.html). Oddly, so is Ben Davis, and I thought he'd been released (or at least was on the DL).

Yea,I'm sorry. I didn't see the "Does not travel with team" sign near his name
on Charlotte's Roster (http://www.charlotteknights.com/pressbox/roster.html)

If we're bringing up another catcher, how about Stewart? He's good defensively, and that's really what you want a third catcher for anyway. Besides, it would be a nice reward for the season he's had.

He's been playing alot of 3rd base this year. Raul Casanova handles the bulk of catching for the Knights.

I remember seeing Brad Fullmer on the AAA roster earlier in the season. I thought he would come in handy for some lefthanded power off the bench, as long as he's not injured or something. But he doesn't appear on the roster that was posted above.

So other than him, I'd like to see a couple of pitchers that can give the whole staff a rest. Not some kind of situation where some AAA guy comes up and gets shelled for two innings and we have to use all the regular relievers, but at least a couple nine inning games where none of the regular pitchers have to pitch.

That would probably require 3 or 4 guys.

I like the Borchard, McCarthy, Willie and Gload scenario. Maybe one of the relievers though I don't see much of a need. Just pitch Adkins more often come september. Maybe bring up Baj since he's already been up to the majors.

I don't really see any reason to get the major league service time clock started on anybody else this fall.

Too bad for Ben, I was really pulling for him....... he has the potential to be a great catcher, he's already great defensively, needs to work on offense, he did last year.

I'm sorry to disagree but no. His potential dried up a few years ago. I know he's still in his late 20's but he's been a major leaguer for over seven years I believe and this was his a third team. If he he had the ability to be a great catcher he would have shown something by now, he's had every opprotunity.

Offensively he always has one fantastic month every year but hits around or under .200 the rest of the season. If you look at the stats that's exactly what he did for the sox last season.

He's at best a career backup. You look at his body behind that plate and think "God, what this guy could do!" but he's never lived up to the potential you find with a first round draft pick.

Even if he were healthy I wouldn't call him up in September.

That's an old roster. The current one is here (http://www.minorleaguebaseball.com/gen/stats/tptemplates/494.html?cid=494&t=t_ros).

Fullmer hasn't played for the Knights this season.
