I'm talking about Felix Hernandez (who in some circles is referred to as King Felix). He's through 8 innings and has not given up a run with 6 Ks, only 5 hits and no walks.

There's always good reason to be skeptical about pitching prospects, especially Seattle pitching prospects, but this performance has me thinking this kid is for real.

Wow. And he's only 19.

He is the truth.

Oh come on Hargrove. Screw the kid's arm, I need that complete game shutout for the WSI H2H league.

That was quite a performance for a 19-year-old in only his second major league start.

Makes you wonder when one of our pitching prospects will even WIN their second major league start. Forget throwing 8 scoreless innings, because that's just not realistic from an organization intent on drafting, and developing, pitchers with a Felix Diaz repetoire.
