He scares the hell out of me up there tonight...here's a guy who can't handle pressure well, going to start at Yankee Stadium, a place he used to get boo'd and harrassed, in a big game....C'Mon Jose, get some earplugs, we need you to be focused at the task at hand.

I think it'll be the perfect motivation for JC to throw it all back in their collective face.

Hope so, anyway .

I'm actually thinking he going to go out and have a great game. I see him going 7 or 8 with 1 or 2 ER

If he manages to make it out of the first couple of innings without spotting 'em three or four runs like he is prone to do. JC and El Duque always seem to be lights out after they fall behind by three.

Flip a coin with Jose. He has been pitching pretty well lately though. I think the Sox will be just fine tonite.

Hope to see some of y'all there.
Shut 'em down, Jose.

I got no faith in Contreras. Whatever faith I had at the beginning of the season left the park along with that 1st inning grand slam against the Flubs in the Cell.

I'm predicting, 6 IP 4 ER 4 BB 5K's with a no decision.

Contreras will be fine if El-Duque gives him some pointers from the night before. Duque had one mistake to Arod, but kept the rest of em 0-fer, other than tino and womack. I predict a quality start.

I was at the game last night and this random Yankee fan-chick was giving me a hard time about the loss, and I'm like, "you lucked out, you avoided Buerhle and Garland," and she's like, "yeah, well Contreras sucks, but I have a strong feeling that he'll pick tomorrow to pitch his best game of the season. I have a bad feeling about tomorrow"

And with that, we parted to our seperate parking lots.

1917, I believe we need to place you in charge of making a similar post the day before every Contreras start!:D:
