The SOX today barely eke out 1 more extra story in todays media coverage ..... Something I consider Inexcusable, considering the SOX are in 1st Place, and the Cubs are ........well, theyre very much NOT in 1st Place.

Cubune:
4 Cub stories
3 Sox stories
Cub-Times:
4 Cub stories
6 Sox stories

Standings since only 7/25 .......
3rd Place, 3 games UNDER .500 - CUBS 121
1st Place, 34 games OVER .500 - SOX 82

Shouldnt the SOX be getting 4 Times the Coverage ????

Well, you have to remember, Hangar, that you picked up your count well past the All-Star break. Had you started at spring training, I'm sure the count would be nearly equal.

I count 4 Sox stories in the Trib: 1) The game summary on page 1, White Sox bits on page 4, and then Guillen talking about the Yanks, and the Fisk statue stories on page 6.

Nothing beats NBC's Sports Sunday last night. The Sox who are home with the best record in baseball, in front of yet another sellout, honoring Carlton Fisk are the second story behind the Cubs getting swept in NY. What a joke.

I've started to look at it this way:

When you go to a concert, which act plays first?

I'll try. I may not always be able to do it, as I'm not usually on the computer on weekends either.
