The return of Nomar and Wood have the Media in a Hopeful Frenzy
as ESPN and its RedSox/Yankees baseball Hilite Show have the Cubs
at Centerstage. I like how all the Media Outlets have the Cubs as the lead
story right now, only to say they arent going anywhere. Nice.
For being 30something games over .500, the SOX are still having a hard time
trying to get people to cover their team and its exploits.

and yes Mickster, we squeaked out todays stories by 2 stories ........
Not bad if we were .500 But to only squeak by with 2 stories when weve
had such a Great Season so far, and 33 games over .500 is Reprehensible

I'm glad that the Trib is at least evening out the amount of coverage (somewhat). But what I think still irks all of us is that we all know if the situation were reversed, the stories would be like 7-2 Cubs every day. Plus, as others have pointed out, they would be having foldout sections for players, promos, "Countdown to 100 wins" each day, etc. With the way things are progressing this season, the Sox, win or lose, should be getting at least 2-3 more stories/articles EVERY DAY.
