Game-Day Tickets

I'm really sorry.. I know there have been threads about this before, but does anyone know at what time on gameday the player's tickets that go unused get released to the public? I know the team wouldn't release this info, but I wondered if any of you all would know.. I'm looking to go on Saturday and was thinking about trying this instead of scalping because it seems like there've been some horror stories..
Also, if anyone has any suggestions on where a good place to scalp would be, please let me know..
