It's been a great pick up by the Tigers so far, he's hitting .358 in the AL. The article does not mention the money terms though..

This deal is for $18.4 million over 4 years. Seems like an awful lot. Though I do like Polanco a lot.

I think that's a great deal for the Tigers(unfortunately). $4.6M/yr. for one of the most underrated 2B in the game is pretty good. Hell, the Sox paid Valentin more than that.

Is the contract voided if his head spontaneously pops?
He has one of the strangest looking heads i've ever seen. It's like his temples are constantly swollen.
