The Sox manage to catch up with the stories today, for the first time in days.
The Cubs hold a very commanding lead as far as coverage goes unfortuneately.
Everyones favorite writer, Carol Sleazak writes yet another cubpoganda article,
though she does point out some good things in it (acknowledging the cubs are in a weaker league, can still make playoffs)

Cubune:
2 cub stories
5 sox stories
Cub-Times:
2 cub stories
2 sox stories

Stories as of only 7/25....
3rd place, 1 game over .500 CUBS 90 stories
1st place, 34 games over .500 SOX 51 stories

Seeing that Cubs didn't play yesterday, it shouldn't come as a surprise to see more Sox stories. Although, we all know they will make up for it once Lawton has a good game and they do about 2 to 3 trade analysis articles.

Nice media in this town.

Wow, it's good to actually see it in that perspective. Now if we can just get a breakdown of how many positive/negative stories for each respective team, then the whole truth could be told. Cubs need another sweet 8 game losing streak so all this "believing" nonsense can be put to the grave. I hate the fact that any light is being taken off one of the best Sox seasons EVER, because some half-asses might stumble and bumble their way into a cheezy wildcard spot....on the back of ONE solid player.

I believe Nomar and a couple of other clowns are coming off the DL this week. Imagine the Flubbie stories then.

the trib's website right now is pretttttty disgusting. Cubs up top, sox buried way down low. As hawk would say... "that's BS! An inept call from possibly an inept newspaper"

C'mon guys - be fair:

Best Team In Baseball Continue To Win - yawn - where's the story there?

But, across town, things might finally be coming together for the lovable Cubbies, who are having an exciting season that could still go either way!

I am undecided as to whether the above should be in teal or not, after seeing the amount of discussion about the Cubbies during the ESPN telecast of Sunday's Sox at O's game.

OK, the Sox were up like 8-1 or something at the time, so the game was clearly over, and we all know what the real Baseball story is in Chicago, don't we?

Hmm, am I perhaps becoming just a little bit too Totally Biased® now?

The SOX manage to get the main page again after a nice run by the Flubs.
But were losing the battle with story coverage per usual.

What is sad that just now on ESPN 1000, during the national ESPN Sports Center update, they gave the stats of Nomar in his minor league games yesterday and today!!

WHAT THE F!!!!

I must of missed the memo that Nomar was the greatest ball player of all time.

C'mon!!!..........The probable simulated season Cy Young award winner is also coming back this weekend!!!..........This is HUGE news, as it guarantees that the beloved Cubbies will catch the Cardinals (at least until monday when Carrie hurts himself again)
