Apparently unhappy with his current situation in Cincy, the Dayton Daily News quotes Aurilia:

"How can Geoff Blum go to the Chicago White Sox and I'm stuck here?"

I was just in Cincinnati. Reds fans hate Aurilia. This sure isn't going to help. I'm much happier with Blum than Aurilia.

That's funny. Well, I guess if Rich Aurilia wasn't sure before if he's alienated himself from every teammate and fan in Cinci this quote certainly cinches that. I guess he also doesn't seem to understand that he lost his SS job to Felipe Lopez because Lopez is tearing it up with the bat this year.

The White Sox talked to Aurelia this past offseason re: a utility role but he signed with Cincinnati instead. No sympathy from here, Rich.
