With the trade deadline fast approaching I'm curious to hear who everyone here thinks we will make a last second deal for. I'm not looking for wishful thinking, just stick your neck out predictions...

With absolutely no grounds nor inside info I'll go:

1)Billy Wagner
2)Mike Lowell
or
3)Mike Sweeney

I don't see the Sox doing a trade inside their division. KC wanted TEX to give them Kevin Mench for Sweeney. We don't have a Kevin Mench that we would trade to KC for him, so I don't see that happening.

Sounds like we're gonna get Huff and maybe Baez or nothing. Something that Ozzie tells anyone who will listen that he's more than comfortable with.

The SOX should not make a trade for a power hitter. In the playoffs get him on, get him over, get him in wins. Thats what has been working all year why change it.

I think we'll get Huff. Maybe Baez, but I really don't want him. I am not sure whether or not I want Huff... the asking price is a little high.

Remember last year's Loaiza/Contreras trade? Wasn't that reported AT or just AFTER the deadline (After because of paperwork) and was a shocker to almost everyone.
