Bobby Jenks gets 0 mention as being a possible impact player down the stretch, although the insider article may mention him.

And here is how they decided which callups would be impact players down the stretch:

A) Which teams do we love?
B) Who will they call up?

There you have it. Im surprised they didn't find a midlevel September call up on the Cubs and claim he will lead them to the pennant.

This doesn't surprise me. Jenks has been "under the radar" as a prospect since his personal troubles.

He's pretty much under the radar since he wasn't listed on many of the top prospects lists in preseason. Pierzynski was on the Hot List the other day and he was asked "Who had the best stuff on the White Sox?" He said Jenks had the best stuff for a reliever and their basic response was something akin to who is Bobby Jenks and I can't believe a guy we've never heard of throws 100 MPH

Could it be that he gets no mention as in impact call up because he can't be called up any further? :?: :?:

Jenks was already called up. This article is about current minor leaguers who could be called up and have an impact.
