They forgot to mention that the Flubs are paying most of Sammy's salary this year. It might not be such a bad deal for the O's.

Guzman's stats amazed me. Why are they still playing him everyday? He's hitting .181! God, and I wanted the Sox to pick him up in the off season too...yikes!

I remember in late September reading a blurb in the Star Tribune up here in Minnesota about how they thought the White Sox would be the first team to pursue Guzman in the off-season. At the time, I thought it was a good idea since the Twins would be losing him to a team in their own division. After hearing about those stats, thank God KW is smarter than that.

As well as the single season record for cost of each victory (salary/number of wins)...
Yet, he's STILL put on a pedestal that Garland and Buehrle both deserve much more...
