Let the simulated games begin! How does a closer simulate a game? Does he sit around for two and a half hours watching someone else pitch, then come in and throw 15 pitches?

Is there such a thing as a simulated simulated game? Like where they sit Wood down and have him think about pitching a simulated game for 2 hours?

It's Carrie Wood, an inning of simulated relief would be more like 45-50 pitches.

Kerry heard Beckett was a close second and wanted to cushion his lead.
