If the Orioles are trading their starting pitching away, and that is what they were seeking all along, what does this mean now? Any thoughts?

Nevin is another one of those players who started out as a bust for Houston, floundered around with various teams for 5 years and in his late 20s finally became a good hitter.

But, he's having a bad year this year.

Nice job by the Orioles. Trade for Sammy this year; trade for Nevin when he's having a bad year.

I don't know if this makes the Orioles buyers or sellars. I would assume they are trying to help the team, but perhaps they've found a way to build towards a strong run next season. Either one may include acquiring Burnett.

I think they have something up their sleeve, I don't think theyd wait to next year when the BoSox and Yankees are so close in reach and don't seem to be as much of a powerhouse/great pitching
