That's 20 HRs now and 69 for his career at Charlotte. He is the all time career HR leader at Charlotte :bandance: He is also the all time leader in hits, at-bats, games, doubles, runs and of course KOs :D:

KOs? Maybe he'll be heavyweight champion of the world.

Seriously, Joe might be one of those guys like Jeromy Burnitz or Phil Nevin who has to kick around for a while before it clicks in. I hope he is able to help us, but if we gave him away to somebody like Pittsburgh and he went on to have a good career, it wouldn't bother me at all. Joe seems like good people and you always want someone like that to have success.

I think most people at WSI like Joe and want to see him succeed. He's such a nice guy and everyone who's played with him says he's a great teammate. It's great to see how he's come on after a dreadful start. Whereas he may very well not play for the Sox it would be cool to see him at Pittsburgh or maybe Colorado. Keep it up, Joe!

Was in Birmingham for Friday night's game. Josh Fields hit three-run bomb to bring Barons within 4-3. He looks like real deal both offensively and defensively. Meaux looked sharp in relief. Works fast, throws strikes. Also liked the ballpark. Was wearing Sox cap and t-shirt when another fan wearing Sox cap wished our guys luck. After strikeout of Huntsville batter, same fan tapped me on the shoulder and said "He Gone!"

Nice.
