looking again and again at that homer by A-Row tonight, his swing was so much like last yr, short and quick, if he can get that swing back, he can be a real big spark for this offense

Yeah, it was a great shot. It landed 3 rows in front of me... I wanted to dive over some bleacher seats and get it!

Aaron's been hitting the ball well lately. All his offensive numbers are on the rise: .289/.342/.404/.748 BA and OBP are at his career norms, although slugging is a bit below (50 points) his norm. Hopefully Aaron has found his stroke and we'll see this consistently for the rest of the season.

he's also been hitting the ball down the line a lot lately. Something he did when he was hot last year.

He owed us another one after that drop. That was a nice stroke though... we need him to find his power swing for the stretch run.

That catch last night would have been awesome. The ball was crushed and he had a long way to run. It would have been a Web Gem if he would have held on.

Rowand's been on fire lately. Really the only disappointment in his game this year is his HR total to date.

Unfortunately, he's just about the only Sox player who noticed that Boston was pitching batting practice last night, allowing him to consistently take advantage of all those crappy pitches.

Glad to see Rowand coming around for the second half. He'll be a critical guy in October. He is NOT one of the guys on this team who'll get tight and pop up every pitch in the infield when the pressure is on. Unfortuantely we have a few of those guys.
