Arizona just got Tim Worrell for their bullpen according to the Tribune. I guess that closes any chances to send them Shingo.

Yep. What's going to happen to Shingo now? Will he simply be sent to the minors? And if someone claims him off waivers, do they have to pay his salary?

The word from Japan is that he will probably retire.
