Gotta be Harris or Walker, right? Say it ain't so, Timo!

Please be Timo

I think Ross is the missing piece. He's going to help the offense a lot.

Supposedly Frank was hurt during practice or something. Gload is being sent to replace him.

Shouldn't this be in the Clubhouse seeing as it affects the major league team?

Where is this info coming from?

Just saw Ross leaving the stadium with his bags. Heard he's on his way to Chicago to replace an injured Thomas.

*** is up with hurt? this is no good if big frank is hurt.

I agree. It could be something minor, though. Let's not jump to conclusion

No better replacement than Gload right now. Looks like it will be Everett tonight though.

Mr. White Sox

something minor? I don't think so. They need to open up a roster spot for Gload, so I can only imagine that Hurt is on the DL, or Harris/Timo are in AAA now.

He gone

Good for Ross. He went down got some at bats, hopefully got healthier and now he's back to where he is needed.

How come nobody else has reported on this yet? On the Score they keep saying that Timo is in RF tonight because Dye is out with an infected bug bite...

Hopefully this mean that Crede's back is healthy, so then they won't need Harris as a backup IF.

The following is from WhiteSox.com, the article about Frank possibly headed to the DL:

Ross Gload left Triple-A Charlotte's contest with Rochester on Thursday night, making his way to Chicago on Friday, initially as a precautionary measure. If inflammation and soreness in Frank Thomas' surgically repaired left ankle prevent the designated hitter from being part of the lineup against knuckleballer Tim Wakefield, then a trip to the disabled list could be in the offing...

It was just four days ago when general manager Ken Williams addressed the media and spoke of how Gload belonged in the Major Leagues. But Gload was sent to Charlotte after being activated from the disabled list Monday, primarily because the White Sox couldn't lose an extra utility infielder in Willie Harris or Pablo Ozuna because of Crede's precarious state.

But Guillen will be ready for any situation come Friday, which is why Gload couldn't improve on his .363 average for the Knights on Thursday. Gload could be back with the Knights by Saturday.

"If we need to do that, that's why we are going to do that. But if not, he [gets] to go back to Charlotte," said Guillen. "Right now, I don't want to take another chance to play without a guy. We don't know what is going to happen."

It was also in today's Sun-Times. I suspect that all 3 reports come from the same source. Gload didn't play yesterday, and it makes sense that they would like to have him on hand "as a precautionary measure."

Hopefully, Frank's okay, Timo gets bit by 100 bugs, and Ross gets to stay.
