I have a reason why to, and why not to:

Why: Because he bashed the organization by saying that we weren't comitted to winning and other things

Why not: Because he was a fan favorite for six years

I don't know. What do you think?

I can think of a couple reasons to boo him or to not boo him.

Why: He bashed the organization by saying the White Sox aren't comitted to winning, and others.

Why not: He was the face of the franchise and a fan favorite for 6 years.

What do you guys think?

Don't feel bad...this is a big board with a lot of smart Sox fans!

I'm not going to boo him. If he had something towards the fans of Chicago then I might be inclined to yell how I feel at the game. However he was the face of this franchise for a few years and worked his butt of for the WhiteSox. Besides, I'm please with how we spend the money we saved, no hard feelings.

i will boo him for him/his agent not allowing the sox med staff to check him out, as a result we couldnt offer arbitration and lost out on the compensatory draft pick

i dont really care about the rest of the bs, but getting absolutely nothing for losing one of your best players to your direct competition really sucks

he screwed us there

I'll give him a standing O, and then get ready for the Sox to throw some more dirt on the Tigers.

No. If Magglio re-signed with the White Sox for the type of money he got from the Tigers, it's pretty safe to say that the White Sox team we have now would not have happened and the Sox wouldn't be 32 games over .500. Therefore, I'm not going to boo or cheer when I go on Wednesday. I will cheer for the guys we signed in the offseason due to Maggs leaving though.

I want Mags back

I say just forget about him. He was a great player when he was here, but he made his choice to go and now we have better things to look forward to this year.
Maggs is irrelevant to me now.

Show the guy the respect he earned as a player here, at least the first time up. I doubt he cares about the boos anyway, it's just lame. And if someone wants to bring up anything about money, remember everyone is out there on the field for money, even our Sox.

Money shmoney, he was a jerk at the end of his 14 million dollar season he spent on the DL. Then he decided to sign within the division. Noone has to boo, but the crowd was split as it should be. If Maggs ever won the Sox anything, it would be different, but he didn't.
