60 wins on July 16?! Are you kidding me?!?!!!!!!

:gulp:

At this point, we have lost fewer games than Kansas City has won.

Uh, we fewer losses than everyone has wins, unless I can't read.
However, they have almost as many losses as the Sox have wins.

We have lost 29, KC has won 31. Is that what I'm trying to say?

We rule.

Who cares about 10? Remember the Dodgers were 12-2? Now they're under .500. Remember the 2002 Indians were like 11-0? They sucked.

The '03 Royals started out pretty hot too. Shows how far that got them.

That is sucha mind boggling stat in that I'm not sure exactly what it means...I'm pretty sure it means nothing, but I really really want to make some sort of sense of it to show how good we are....but I really think it's just the way you'd expect it to be

I think all it really does is show how ****ty the royals are in that they barely have more wins than a team that has very few losses.

Or if you just accept off the bat that the royals suck, that we have less losses than a ****ty team has wins. That is, we are as good as the Royals are bad, which would mean pretty good.

DAMMIT. I'm all thunked out!

It is great that the White Sox are establishing their claim as baseball's premier team in 2005. It is also amusing - and somewhat sad - that the tools on espn and mlb.com continue to ignore the accomplishments of this team. You can be absolutely sure that if it was the yank-mees, blow-sox, or flubs who accomplished this same feat - the commentators and so-called pundits would be moist as they applauded such derring-do! What a bunch of useless tools! How can these idiots continue to collect their pay for their imbecilic drivel??

LOL... don't hurt yourself man..

The way I figure, every team has played roughly 90 games out of a 162 game season. The Chicago White Sox have won 60 thus far, making their record 60-29. Kansas City, a divisional rival (I consider any team in the AL Central a Divisiona Rival) has only won 31 games at this point. Our closest competition hasn't cracked 50 yet. We rule.
