The time has come for Chicago White Sox fans to start enjoying their favorite baseball team.

Stop worrying about the missing love from Fox and ESPN. Who cares if the Sox on the tip of Peter Gammons' tongue every night are Red instead of White?

It's like the T-shirt Sox manager Ozzie Guillen's son was wearing around the clubhouse: "White Sox 2005 - They're real and they're spectacular."

I want to hang out with Ozzie's kids.

Anyone know where I can get one of those t-shirts?

The PJ Star?

:cower:

I'm not going to lie, I'm amazed they even noticed the American League.

To stay with the Seinfeldian theme of the thread, I would assume Kirk Wessler has been offered a better job by another newspaper, but he wants to go out in a flame of glory.

Oh well.... Nicely written. See, now there's a slogan. :D:

I LOVE That Seinfeld line. That was one of the funniest episodes ever. "Oh, by the way, They are real and they are spectacular." Then in the final episode Jackie the lawyer sleeps with her and says that.

That line was uttered by Teri Hatcher, who got her
"Lois And Clark" gig shortly thereafter.:D: :D:

Best think I've read about this whole overworked subject in a real long time. To think it came out of Peoria. Amazing.

It sounds like Todd Walker is fishing for a crosstown trade. Too bad - Uribe and Tad are better and both of them know how to get rid of the five o'clock shadow before the game starts.

This part is amazing:

"Did you know that since 1990, only two teams in all of major league baseball have not finished at least one season in last place? Did you know one of those is the White Sox? The other is the Reds, whose streak is free-falling toward an end this year."

We looked that stat up and I think you need to throw the Baltiomore Orioles on that list. But that being said I think it was a great article, if he's not a member here I think someone should shoot him an e-mail and invite him.

Or just not completely biased and actually stating the truth.
