Thanks for sharing this. "Kinda funny" doesn't even come close to describing this piece; it is a flat-out scream. I'm still laughing.

Wow, I really hope that article was tongue-in-cheek. If not, you got some issues, batgirl.

Mod edit: People have been banned for less. Joking or not there is no need to mention it.

It isn't funny when the Twins are in first, but it's very much funny when we are...an excerpt from her blog entry of April 18:
It's All Fun and Games Until Carl Everett Hits the Ball 800 Feet
...and then in the bottom of the sixth, well, Carl Everett came up again, and that is where Kyle Lohse really could have used the composure hat. For Carl Everett has been owning us, he's owned us for so long the mortgage is totally paid off, he could take out a second mortgage and THAT would be paid off, and Carl Everett already hit a homer off Lohse earlier in the game and Lohse knew that and all he wanted to do was NOT give up another homer to Carl Everett, because Everett is big and scary and there's a runner on base and if he gave up another homer to Everett the Twins would be behind by two and Batgirl would make fun of him and nobody wants that. So Kyle Lohse closed his eyes and concentrated very hard on how much it would suck if he gave up a homer to Carl Everett and then he reared back and threw the ball. And…and…and…
Lohse gave up a home run to Everett. A really, really, really big home run to Everett. The sort of home run where everyone in the park just stops what they're doing and turns and looks and says, "Damn. That was a big home run." (Unless you are Matthew LeCroy, in which case you say, "Dang.") And Batgirl said some things, well, she said some things that cannot be taken back.

There's nothing even remotely funny about BatGirl. Unless you count the slow descent into madness.

A nice funny article. She obviuolsy thinks that anyone in Minnesota thinks Boone is going to help them is a joke. She is right. A guy cut from a lsat place team. He was crying during his last post game conference. I eblieve he was batting .150 or there abouts when he was released.

Right, "a fading all-star cut from a last place team."
Man, if the Sox pulled a move like that, I'd be pissed... wait... didn't they do that with Roberto Alomar... twice!

No kidding, I know wilkes is tied in with her, but great just one more twins (anti-sox) troll with a national pulpit now. Can't wait to see a bunch of bitch sox articles when we make the playoffs. Maybe an article on how her cat "jumped" (thrown out) out the window when the Twins don't make the playoffs.

It's crap like this and the WOO WOO chronicles that makes me just wish JR would loosen up the purse strings and turn this team into the Braves. 10 straight division titles or whatever. Shoot we should be going for 5 or so as it is.

If Bret Boone is a savior, then NO-MAH can save the world from harm.

If this "bee-yotch" thinks Jon Garland,Mark Beuhrle or Scott Podsednik
are going to cower in the presence of Bret Boone, she probably believes
the world is square.:D: :D:

It is so unfortunate that the rest of the world does not have to rely on a color indicator to interpret sarcasm.

You've got to hand it to her...from what I've seen of her website and after reading this article, I think that she's a very creative person and a good writer. The lego re-enactments are also pretty funny.
Having said that, I can't get past the whole fuzzy, cute aspect of her writing and the Twinkies fans who reply. From the silly nicknames to the kitten and cupcakes references...ugh, if they could do the site in audio, they would do it all in baby talk "You're such a cutie. Oh yes you are. A-boo-boo-goo-goo. A boo-boo-goo-goo"
