Think of this lineup:
C: Miguel Olivo/Alberto Castillo
1B:Albert Pujols
2B: Luis Castillo
SS:Miguel Tejada
3B: A-Rod
LF: Manny Ramirez
CF: Willy Tavares
RF: Vlad Guerrero
DH: David Ortiz (edit)

Lineup:
Castillo
A-Rod
Pujols
Manny
Vlad
Tejada
Guillen
Olivo/Castilllo
Taveres (Could by Melky Cabrera)

Only real weak spot is at catcher. Here's a link to a list of Dominican-born players.

Wasn't he born in the US?

Unless he said he will not participate I think David ortiz will be the DH. Also soriano would probably be at second base, and pee hands Alou would figure to be on the team.

However the way the tourny is set up it's a crap shoot one off day by a pitcher and your team is gone.

I answered my own question. He was born in NYC.

Looks like I'm suiting up for Luxembourg this year.

Missed Ortiz, he would be the DH. I think they'll start Castillo, they have enough power without Soriano anyway. That is assuming that all these guys show up.

Both of his parents are Dominican, I think, so he has dual citizenship. \

In a story on ESPN's Web site yesterday, Rodriguez was quoted, "I am going to play for the Dominican Republic, and I am going to make the Dominicans feel proud."

But Rodriguez told MLB.com after the All-Star Game on Tuesday: "It would be a privilege for me to represent the U.S., and it would be a privilege for me to represent the Dominican Republic.

"Basically, I have no balls. Can I play for BOTH teams?"
