Woo Woo missing? (http://www.nbc5.com/sports/4713465/detail.html?z=dp&dpswid=2265994&dppid=65192)

The most shocking part of the article are revelations that Woo Woo has both a wife and a job. What were the chances of that?

Looks like he was there on July 6th.

What the #### was Ronnie Woo-Woo doing parading his useless self around our ballpark last night? He was in full cub uniform as always, walking up and down the prime sections of Comiskey Cellular, waving his cubbie blue hat like he was Minnie Minoso (if Minnie Minoso were attention-starved).

If he bought a ticket, he can go to a game like anyone else, but I thought each fan was supposed to limit access to the section for which one purchased tickets. I asked the usher in my section how the definitive face of cub nation was allowed to pester the good fans in our section, and he was appropriately apologetic. But how do we keep this clown from clowning us again?
Maybe he's defecting too. He's taking a couple days to get fitted for a 1959 Sox uniform.

I think it was a few years ago that the jagged toothed crackhead was arrested out in the suburbs at an after hours party for being loud and disorderly, causing him to miss a game. There were some morons on the news who felt that this was an unbearable tragedy that it would snap his personal attendance streak just b/c he did such a minor offense of being drunk and disorderly.

CHICAGO - Ronald "Woo Woo" Wickers, a well-known Chicago Cubs fan, was located Wednesday after reportedly being missing for two weeks. Wickers called Belmont Area detectives Wednesday and told them he was safe and not missing, police News Affairs spokeswoman Robin Mohr said.

From the Tribune blog site. I think I like Adam more and more!

"Adam Caldarelli at 2:02 p.m.
Update: Ronnie Wickers has been found. Apparently The World's Most Annoying Cubs Fan was never missing. Darn.

Wickers called Belmont Area detectives Wednesday and told them he was safe and not missing, according to police.

A news release from his friend and manager Janet Tabit, said that Wickers, a self-employed window washer in the Wrigleyville neighborhood, had been lying low during the All-Star break.

"Maybe people think if there is no baseball, then there is no Ronnie, but that's not true, even though they both go together," Tabit said in the release.

"I was just on All-Star break, just like most players," Wickers said in the release.

The bigger question is what does this yodeling barnacle need a manager for?

And now that he's found, can he go away? "

LOL...classic.

From Snead:

Woo woo words . . .

Cubs super fan Ronnie "Woo-Woo" Wickers, who has just resurfaced after a brief disappearance, was a busy boy recently when he disrupted the filming of "The Break Up" at Wrigley Field by woo-wooing for 25 minutes straight until one of the film's stars, actress Jennifer Aniston, came out to say hello. *The upshot: Aniston was accompanied a few minutes later by her co-star, actor Vince Vaughn. The pair joined Woo Woo and fellow Cubs fanatic Mark Weyermuller for a round of photos.

So, he acts the ass and gets to meet Jennifer Aniston? And I guess the Vince Vaughn allegience question has been answered too!

Jesus Christ, it looks as if Cub-hating has sunk to an all-time low around here.

If you really wanted to be on point here, you would say that some of the more childish people around Wrigley don't treat Woo Woo with respect, either. I used to live up there, and many of those boorish north siders say some of the exact things that were posted on this thread.

I don't see why I or any other Sox fan would want to imitate them.

Maybe people are a little miffed because some glorified bum gets a couple of days of positive articles, the Cubs get a glowing "we've got the Wild Card sewed up" article, while the Sox get another "doom and gloom" article.

For chrissakes, Woo Woo gets more positive press than the best team in baseball.

Oh yeah, and the fact that the whole "Ronnie Woo Woo is missing" episode was a complete farce to begin with.
