Isn't Shea Hillenbrand on Toronto? :?:

EDIT: White Sox in first isn't one of the top stories...:?:

10 game lead in July. I'd hope so.

EDIT: White Sox in first isn't one of the top stories...:?: I also wondered how we are not a bigger story than two things that don't really even exist this season (bonds and power outage). seems like these are only a "story" because the media continues to beat them to death.
EDIT: the scrubs are going to make the playoffs, huh?

My votes are in.

Btw, I find the below results interesting, like a breath of fresh air...

Are the playoffs more exciting with or without the Yankees?
With the Yankees 45% 6084 votes
Without the Yankees 55% 7359 votes
Total: 13443 votes

I voted that they're more exciting with the Yankees, especially in the last 4 years.

2001 - Lose in G7 to AZ D'Backs. Awesome, exciting series.
2002 - Lose to Angels in ALCS. Again, exciting series.
2003 - Lose to Marlons in WS. Exciting, oh yes!
2004 - Lose to Boston in a real choke job. Very fun to see.

So, it's exciting because they're a juggernaut but of late, in the playoffs, they just choke or turn off, and that's exciting to watch.

This is not a very interesting poll. Nevertheless, I voted anyway.

Question #2 has Buehrle getting 28% and Garland getting 21% of the vote. They're splitting the vote while Halladay is running away with it at 41%. A decision should be made who to vote for here. I suggest Garland since Buerhle is also listed in question #1. That way both pitchers have a chance to win.

Halladay's out for a month with a broken (shin?) bone. This is our guy's time to step up if one of them is going to win it. Also, it would really help make up for Halladay in my fantasy rotation. Go Mark and Jon, go!
