How stupid must Cleveland be if they think the Brewers would actually go for that?

Not much information there, but thank you Milwaukee! That seems odd. And Milwaukee's building up for upcoming years not having a fire sale.

No. He is signed through 2006 with a club option for 2007.

It's a Club option for 2006. They'll overpay his ass just so he doesn't leave that place.

Their team is 200% improved, their crowds are good, they're competitive and they still have an outside shot at a wild card. Why trade your best player?

Carlos Lee is going to be an all star every year in the N.L.
Just his presence helps the Brew Crew gain respectability.

The Brewers will try and ink him longer than 2007,eventually.

:pods: and :vizcaino:

The rarest occurance of all: a trade that benefits BOTH clubs.
