This is my first personal thread, but anyway, I think we should get Glavine.
He would be perfect for our staff and he's a lefty. He could pitch for us in the playoffs and be a 4th starter. But my question is how long is his contract?

A little welcoming advice, avoid trade threads. They lead to bad things. As for this trade, I'm gonna go with no.

As you can see, WhiteSoxJosh jumped all over this thread. I would PM Josh about any possible trades because that is his area of expertise.:D:

If the umps would promise to expand his strike zone by 6 inches on the outside corner whenever he pitches like he got in Atlanta, then bring him on.

Only if Leo Mazzone suddenly became our pitching coach.

I think we should get Glavine.
Why?
He would be perfect for our staff and he's a lefty. He could pitch for us in the playoffs and be a 4th starter.
How is he perfect for our staff? He's 6-7 with a 4.94 ERA. How is that an improvement over the Cubans?

This is the last year in his contract, he is due $10,765,608. For that money, I'd rather have Schmidt.

Ok seriously WSJosh, making up a second account is generally frowned upon. Although it would be quite an accomplishment if you could get as many posts as your other account in one day.
