It's hard to see Honel get lit up like that. I was hoping Malone would turn the corner and get on the fast track back.:(:

Getz is my kind of guy. I loved that pick. How can you go wrong with a slick fielding IF who knows how to handle the bat?

Fields recent success is promising. Hopefully he's catching up to the league and the numbers will show long term.

LTP.... I still love ya man. There's nobody I want to see succeed more. :gulp:

Question:
I've noticed Getz playing a bit of SS lately...to those that have seen him, is he any good at SS? If so, do you think we'll be seeing him in the majors as a 2B (spelling Iguchi 2 years from now or something) or a SS?

He's a better 2nd baseman, but a capable SS. Maybe kind of like Graffanino? Hard to say at this point.

With Lopez and Valido both ahead of him (if Lopez ever settles in and learns to hit at this level), I don't think Getz' future is at SS in this organization. He's a 2nd baseman or a utility IF'er, IMO.
