Public Enemy Number 1, for....

Chicago White Sox (http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=schoenfield/050705&num=2#): Cubs fans. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that White Sox fans have a gritty bitterness toward them while Cubs fans (well, most of them) have a sunny cheeriness, content to sit shirtless at Wrigley Field, downing a few beers in the bleachers and after the game, petting the dog that sits outside the firehouse on Waveland Avenue.

and again...

Minnesota Twins (http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=schoenfield/050705&num=2#): Ozzie Guillen. Since those of us in the world of mass media tend to ignore anything that goes on in the Upper Mississippi Region, unless it involves Randy Moss fake-mooning Packers fans, you may have missed the brewing rivalry between the Twins and White Sox. As the leader of the Sox, Ozzie isn't just an amusing quote machine who plays a fun brand of ball, but an insipid, dirty manager who can take his Ozzieball crap and go rot with the rest of the rats who live in the upper levels of U.S. Cellular Field.

They should add ESPN as an option for Sox Fans Enemy Number 1.

I guess I missed something but why do people in baseball think Ozzie is a dirty manager?

I know we're all feeling pretty gritty and bitter right now. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... laughing all the way to the playoffs.

He's right though, I do really hate Ronnie Woo-Woo.

Man oh man... what a team.

I actually did enjoy all those articles about the hate topic. The guy who hates everything wrote a pretty good one. I thought, "this guy must be a sox fan"

"Clearly all that Ozzieball stuff is just crap.
I mean, just look at the standings. What's
that you say? The best record in baseball?!?"

Does any other fanbase endure this type of abuse? Not to whine, but can you think of one? I mean, Oakland Raiders? New York Yankees? Are these writers just frickin' goofy or something?

"...but an insipid, dirty manager who can take his Ozzieball crap and go rot with the rest of the rats who live in the upper levels of U.S. Cellular Field."

That quote is downright insulting, and I think, gramatically incorrect. It should read, "rats that" instead of "rats who."

Because, he said he'd help someone cheat if they could get away with it.

You guys are going a little overboard on this "media hates us" thing. Most of the time it's true, they don't respect the sox... but here, they're right on. Most sox fans hate cubs fans more than anything... i mean read half the threads on here during the sox/cubs series.

I dont' think you guys are reading this article right. Of course that quote is downright insulting. It's supposed to be written from a twins perspective. And, twins fans are going to hate the stereotypes that are sox fans, like we hate the stereotypes that are cubs fans, and twins fans.

My God people, let's try to remain sane. Stories like these that appear on Page 2 are satirical. I personally thought it was somewhat humorous.

A winnah is he! Cmon guys, it wasn't that hard to understand. I understood it was from a Twins perspective the whole time..and I am an idiot! (I contemplated with myself for about 5 minutes on whether I should have tealed that or not).

Yes, insulting. Gramatically inferior, indeed.

I was going to make a few select comments eluding to performing dentistry with my knuckles, but I opted to play it cool.

While the Sox are celebrating a World Series win in October, I wonder where this suckhole will be watching? Certainly not from the rat-infested upperdeck if Boyer, Uncle Jerry and family have anything to say about it.

Yea, the more I think about it, especially after my last post, I think you could be right. But if this were the case, the 'White Sox Public Enemy Number 1' piece wouldn't have been so Cubs-fan flattering.

White Sox Public Enemy Number 1: ESPN.

Do sox fans hate the cubs, twins, or espn more? It really is a tough call. And, again, it's supposed to be insulting to the sox, each team part of the article was supposed to be written from that team's perspective.
